This electronic survey takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. It is designed to test several hypotheses regarding article citing, sharing, and recommending preferences and their potential relations with general (normal) personality of a citing author. The questionnaire is anonymous and the data will be used strictly by a principal invesitagor for a research, i.e. paper writing purposes.

If you are a published or aspiring scientific author with the general interest in scientometrics/informetrics/bibliometrics, please consider taking your time to participate in the research. I would appreciate it. I would also appreciate if you could share the survey link with your colleagues. During the survey, you will be asked to provide some general sociodemographic and academic interest and production info, to evaluate three real article abstracts (permissions to use them have been obtained from the authors) on a few potential article citing and sharing preference dimensions, to answer a few short general questions regarding your article citing and sharing preferences, and to fill in a HEXACO-60 personality questionnaire. Please proceed with the survey only if you agree to provide the listed info for research purposes. You are also free to opt out at any time.
